Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Providence Pay website and loan services. By using our website or submitting a loan application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
"Providence Pay", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of this website and lending service. "You" and "borrower" refer to any person who accesses the website or applies for a loan.
2. Eligibility
To apply for a loan you must be at least 18 years old, resident in Nigeria, and able to provide a valid means of identification, an active bank account and a verifiable source of income. We may decline any application at our discretion.
3. Loan Applications and Approval
All applications are subject to review, credit assessment and verification. Approval, loan amount, tenure and interest rate are determined based on the information you provide and your credit profile. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
4. Interest, Fees and Charges
The applicable interest rate, processing fees and any other charges will be disclosed to you before you accept a loan offer. By accepting the offer you agree to repay the principal together with all disclosed interest and fees.
5. Repayment
You agree to repay each loan in line with the repayment schedule provided at the time of disbursement, whether by bank transfer or authorised auto-debit. Early repayment is permitted at no additional cost. Timely repayment may qualify you for higher loan limits.
6. Default
If you fail to repay on the due date, your loan may attract late-payment charges as disclosed, and we may report the default to licensed credit bureaus and pursue lawful recovery measures. We will always act in accordance with applicable regulations on fair debt collection.
7. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, keeping your contact and bank details up to date, safeguarding your account credentials, and using any funds for lawful purposes only.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to Providence Pay and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Providence Pay is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision, and your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
